The Gold Shield is a nationwide network that is inspiring businesses and communities to support Veteran organizations who are playing a crucial role in ending the Veteran suicide epidemic.
Put simply: we bring people and businesses together to save Veteran lives.
The Gold Shield generates ongoing funding for 501c3 Veteran support organizations across the country through certified donations.
The Gold Shield implements strategies to help members engage their business in efforts to combat the Veteran suicide crisis.
The Gold Shield promotes our members through a national campaign that tells consumers to “Shop where you see the Gold Shield.”
The Gold Shield amplifies the impact of our members and the organizations they support through media partnerships and ambassador relationships.
The Gold Shield helps our members forge meaningful relationships with impactful Veteran Support Partners, both locally and nationally.

Tony Lo Bianco

Tony Lo Bianco was an esteemed actor, writer, director, and producer, and he stood as arguably the most awarded and recognized supporter of Veterans. Tony was a proud and patriotic American and a leading figure in our National Campaign.
Throughout his illustrious career, Tony was honored with numerous awards, including The New York’s Finest Foundation Humanitarian Award and the Law Enforcement Support Foundation of America Award, among many others. His legacy of unwavering support for Veterans continues to inspire us.
Tony Danza & The Stars of Tomorrow Chorus
Tony is an award-winning film, stage and television actor and singer who has starred on some of television’s most cherished and long-running series, including Taxi (1978–1983) and Who’s the Boss (1984–1992).
Tony Danza has been one of America’s most iconic and beloved performers for over forty years, and a proud supporter of our Veterans.
Tony has helped change and save lives through his leadership of the Stars of Tomorrow Chorus, which has been a featured part of the PAL for many years.
Together, Tony and the Stars of Tomorrow will be performing on the national stage to support The Gold Shield in saving Veteran lives.
Mykel Hawke

Mykel Hawke has been a key part in expanding the reach of our National Campaign, and has done so from the perspective of a decorated military Veteran.
Mykel joined the US Army in 1982. He served on 9 tours of duty; and served in the Reserves and Guard for 12 more years. Hawke is a retired Green Beret/Special Forces Combat Commander and Senior Sergeant, an established Survival Expert, Martial Artist & Adventure Guide. He has also been Host & Producer for 8 TV series and featured on over 50 shows.

We accomplish this through our multi-media national advertising campaigns, which educate the public and encourage consumers to “Shop where you see the Gold Shield” because this is THE solution to end this crisis.
Our members are given resources to promote their business as part of the solution – including a Gold Shield decal to be placed in the business (and digital files for use on websites) – which can enhance their business’s reputation and visibility nationwide.
Gold Shield Members are represented and promoted by the influential partners in our network. These individuals who are devoted Veteran supporters and have dedicated themselves to putting an end to the crisis.
